Brodie is so important to the Flames. I can't believe what an impact he's had since returning. If Hamilton plays to his potential, the D core looks so solid going forward
to be fair they interviewed Brodie right after but he was in too cool mode and was boring as #### to listen to. Sort of like McDavid is here.
For sure. I guess I like having the panel discuss the game, especially Friedman. Guess I shouldn't be so salty about it, but these interviews are boring me and I love hearing the panel break down plays and discuss it.

I finally got the dog and the cats (and my wife) settled back down.....yeesh!
I was kinda stunned when the puck went in as I was totally anticipating 3 on 3...and then, like a miracle...there it was! Now I'm hoarse. Frolik sure looked pretty happy!
So according to Scouting the Refs, Hebert has worked 180 games since March 2011 (average of 40 or so games/season) and Morton has done 535 games since 2000 (average of about 35 games/season). They were either rusty or semi-blind. Missed way too many calls, made calls that were - let's be charitable - weak and blew the called-off Flames goal.
The first challenged goal I get - it's a bit like the toe in the blue paint (dumb, but hey...)
The second one, you can see Ference pushing whoever it was into Talbot. His arm clearly moves and gives him a shove. How does that become goalie interference?
I guess they felt they had to do that.
Anyway - happy for the win; now time for them to get the season turned around!!

Friedman is a treat to listen to.
Too bad they never at him speak.

Couldn't agree more, I hate player interviews and think they're a complete and utter waste of time for everybody involved. There's maybe one every 5 or 6 seasons worth listening to.
His point was that Byfuglien's goal on Ramo was equally as bad, which is true.
According to NHL rules, it was not offside.
And my original post stated very clearly that our goalies have not let in a GWG from behind the goal line. Which they haven't.
We had some posters yearning for Talbot in the GT.
Let's hope these trade-Bennett rumours can FINALLY be put to rest. Flames would be crazy to consider trading a guy who's only barely getting started. And is 19. He's awesome and I hope he's a Flame for a long, long time.
