Great use of the coach's challenge by Hartley. I never expected the Flames to win a call, but it finally happened.

That was the first game all season I don't think you can fault a Flames goalie for any of the goals against. That was a pretty solid effort in a back to back situation and they got a much needed 2 points.

They still need to work on a lot of things in the defensive zone, but it's something to build on at least.

Can we get a "This guy scored" pic on the GWG?

This win is for the lady who told my kids tonight that their Monahan and Gaudreau costumes "will be wasted" and should cheer for Mcdavid. S U C K. I T.

With October behind us I'm now firmly in the camp of hoping we deal for a goalie.

While I don't want to see a move that mortgages the future, the goaltending has been so bad it needs to be looked at.

People can say goaltending won't fix what's wrong right now in the big picture, but it's a good start. We need a goalie that is capable of stealing a game, and right now none of the current 3 seem to have a prayer of doing that.

Hoping we can find a hidden gem. We need someone back there who gives us a chance to win every night, and the first month was painfully deflating seeing them all let in so many soft ones, so often.

Simpson was sure his usual homer self tonight, i think he was almost in tears when that last goal went in... kept trying to tell everyone that the play should have been dead.. he is no better than Hughson with Vancouver

Was an exciting game to be at. Flames deserved to win. But oilers got jobbed on that no goal call.

Domination.

yeah, the some horrible calls allowed the Oilers to stay in this game. Still, we can be better(mostly in that 3rd)

HAHA. Stupid Oilers.

5 goals scored, no points combined by Gaudreau, Hudler, Monahan, Bennett, and Giordano.

Finally got some secondary scoring.

About this time 5 years ago with the Moss Khabibhulin goal.

Now that Halloween is over hopefully the Oilers retina burning prison uniforms are gone.

Flames a single point behind the Oilers. For all the pathetic talking up the media is doing with that team daily, it's pretty sobering got Oiler fans and those here thinking of jumping the ship, considering how the Flames have looked good in 3 total games out of 12 this year.

A regulation win regulation sure feels nice, even if it was ugly.

It was great to see the secondary scoring. We were missing that for all of October. I still don't think the Flames have turned the corner. They still have a lot of work to do concerning the defence and getting some sort of consistency and confidence in their goaltending.
