Good couple of shifts by the Flames after the goal. Just gotta keep their foot on the gas and we've got this. We need to get our 2-goal cushion back though. Being up by only 1 is terrifying.

Brodie is the best defenseman on this team. That dude thinks the game at an elite level and his skating lets him so things Gio just straight up can't. Oh, and lest we forget, his insane cross ice backhand passes in stride. #### off. Who does that.

As much as the Flames have had a crappy start, there are still players that you can't help loving on this team. Gio with that rush up the middle, even though it produced nothing, is one example of someone you can't help cheering for.
