Because there's no rationale to to anything this season, Flames win 7-2. We score a goal from outside the blue line and McDavid gets a minor injury so he sits out the rest of the game. Oilers confidence is in tatters.
Johnny and Bennett get at least three points each. Ramo plays like a man possessed because of being waived and things settle down in net for the rest of the season.

You guys are blaming the fans? I can't take how bad this team is. Its not fun. Not exciting. Its literally just miserable. How are you surprised that people who are die hard enough to come to forums to post are getting sick of sitting through this? Why does everyone have to be a sucker for punishment like you?
I'm sure it'll be on at my Halloween party but I doubt anyone is going to care. This team has completely erased all the excitement they built last season and made us die hards look like fools for defending them against the regression label.
I ####ing hate this season.

I'm going to expect a 5-2 loss.
I'm going to hope for a 5-2 win though!
If we win, it will be a nice surprise, but I'm trying to set low expectations so my jimmies won't be so rustled if we lose (I'm watching the game with an oilers fan).

If this game looks anything like last night's game I hope we at least show some fight. Hit someone, drop your gloves. Let them know we're there. Rolling over like the 2006-2014 Oilers is what's making me nuts. I know McGrattan and Westgarth can't play in this new league but at least they showed some hostility towards the opposition. Especially the Oilers.

Couldn't agree more. If you're not going to stick with them through the rough times then you better not be here when they win too. Just pathetic some of the stuff that's been said. Sounds Oiler fanish.
