Or perhaps the rest of the league has no idea who he is? I would wager that has more to do with him falling to the Habs. They were on a winning streak, so of course it was hard for him to break into the lineup. Just wait and see if they bench him again. I bet they won't.
He actually was good enough to make the Flames, they just thought he would slip through waivers. Anyone that thinks Mason Raymond or Brandon Bollig did more to earn a spot on the team are as delusional as Bob Hartley.
But fine, give up a guy that was gonna pot 30 points playing on the 4th line. A guy that goes out and brings so much energy that it shifts momentum to his team. Not to mention his role as a good PKer.
We sure made the right decision.
