People are clearly over-reacting on Hamilton's penlaty. He has had a good game tonight and the puck rolled up on edge on him as he tried to clear the zone.

Ugh. 9 games into the season, and the Flames have not led a single game after 2 periods. Trailing 8 times, and tied once (Winnipeg).

his breakout strategy is the most concerning Hartley related issue right now.
As much as the players have struggled on-ice, Hartley has struggled off-ice.

He joined the rush twice near the end of the period to try to create some offense. If anything, I'd like to see him do that more. At least he's trying. He's had a decent game. Saved a goal in the first, too.
