Hiller is wildly inconsistent. When he is off, he is really off. Anaheim got rid of this guy because they flat out said they didn't think they could win a tough 7 game series with him. I guess he was a good stop gap in the Flames eyes because they didn't expect to do what they did last year, but he's a poor man's starter.

They never really gave Ramo a chance to take the reigns which I would like to have seen, but neither is the goalie of our future.

I feel legitimately bad for Hamilton, as a person. These things tend to snowball and he is clearly putting too much pressure on himself. Hopefully he can straighten it out before the fans start throwing poo at his house.

The compete level was there today. Not sure that is a fair statement. No execution, but compete level was there.

The bad rebound that was on Sean Monahan's stick before he passed it softly up the slot to the Rangers player was Hiller's fault?

Teams look to just have to worry about the top line of the Flames now. The defenseman were an x factor last year, pinching unexpectedly and jumping in unexpectedly. That caused instant and sudden chances and turned momentum in games last year.

Not so much this year, and I think teams are more aware of that.

So, once that top line in neutralized, as much as the Flames were hanging around and competing decently tonight, the Rangers are a good team and kept on the Flames until they made a couple mistakes.

Too late for that. I was throwing poo at his house before the trade even happened. The people that lived there before him weren't very happy about it.
