Hamilton on the ice again. Way up ice, but not near the man he needs to be. Smid covering down low for him. No chance.
I rarely advocate benching players because I'm not the guy who should be judging, but Hamilton needs tomorrow night off. Play Nakladal against the Islanders.

Damn, Hamilton didn't cover anyone so Smid was left defending two forwards in front of the net. Tough outing for Dougie so far, very responsible for both goals against so far.

I feel bad for Hamilton, he's obviously a great hockey player but he's just can't find a groove with this team yet. It would be hard to walk into a team like the Flames who are so tight knit and all about playing as a team to win. He'll either catch on, or he won't make it. Maybe he just doesn't mesh with Hartley's philosophy?
