Considering he spends almost the entire game on his knees, it would surprise me if every team wasn't told to do it prior to every game against Calgary.

I hate those calls. I get it when you totally smash the stick and break it, but those little slashes where the guy drops the stick are goofy. That's not a hockey call, imo.
