Great write up! Tip of the cap to that other team you referenced, and the wild ride they took us on...

Plus, "shifty" always looks like something else to me, and reads funnier.

The only goat I seen was the 2 early PKs. They allowed the Wings to enter the zone with ease and when they blocked a shot they were not able to send the puck down the ice.

Thanks for the write up. Great job.

Agreed about the PK. Really thought the special teams were going to be the difference maker, in a negative way, until the end of game heroics.

Good point in the write-up about Bollig, too. He had a really positive camp and Hartley expressed that Bollig was capable of bringing more to the table. But like so many other things, the negative start seems to have squashed that. If Ferland is hurt for any significant amount of time, that might have as much or more to do with Bollig drawing in regularly as compared to Bollig's own level of play and compete.

The only thing to do now is to mention baseball in the first paragraph of every Game Takes henceforth.

Boy 1-6 might have been too big a hole to dig out of. Instead 2-5 and some hope. Happy to see Hamilton playing better.

In his interview Giordano says they deserved better when they were down. It looked to me that they would lose but as the saying goes a losing or winning streak isn't always started in the game at hand. The Flames looked good even if they lost and I could see better things to come.
