Royals were simply the better team this series. It's as simple as that. Jays didn't get the timely hits when they needed them, and the pitching left quite a bit to be desired.

Thanks for the great season Jays.

Aww, man. That sucks.

Thank you Blue Jays for the best season of baseball I've watched in ages. This Royals team is a good ball club. No shame in losing to those guys.

Nice try by the Jays there. Cant believe we werent able to get at least 1 run on the board in a 1st and 3rd no outs situation, that is a killer.

Thanks for the memorable post season TO.

The non home run that gets called a home run. High and outside to Navarro. The no balk. The high and outside to Revere.

Seriously, come on man.

On a side note, Ken Rosenthal always seems like the company brownnoser. Damn, won't be able to sleep well on this one.

All in all it was a hell of a season. Thanks for the ride. Hopefully we can come back next year and do it again.

Pitiful display of hitting with runners in scoring position tonight, especially in the 9th. No one to blame but themselves. With that said it was fantastic to be able to watch Jays post season games after waiting the last couple decades.

Go Mets!

Amazing season from the Blue Jays though. We need to retool that bullpen in the offseason, get another huge lefty arm in the pen just in case Cecil goes down to injury once again.

Also, I hope Pompey tears it up in Spring Training. He deserves a full time job in the outfield next season.

Bring in the conspiracy. Terrible second strike on Revere changes that whole at bat just like that.

Difference in game ? The home run that was actually a double. F'ing terrible.

Great season, but this game does give a bit of a lingering feeling that the outcome was (at least partially) out of the players hands, that we didn't get at anytime in the Blue Jays postseason thus far.

The umping wasn't great but 0-12 RISP, Osuna going with the change on 3-2...there were more than enough self inflicted wounds.

Not being able to score when we had guys in scoring position was the difference. Too many wasted chances
