On a 1-2 you're throwing inside. So dumb.

Ugh. 2 strikes and he gives him a fastball down the middle.

Getting 1 run was gonna be tough but 2 is asking a ton. Royals simply small balling much better and that's the difference.

Should have let Price work out the inning.

Elite bullpen is the difference. We didn't spend $ on that bullpen and now it's biting us back in the arse. And yes, I would've let Price finish this inning.

Should be 3-3 if the jays could cash in a single base runner

Nope. Seen him melt down before in that situation. It was a bad pitch.

Well it was a great run. Thanks Jays! Hopefully next season will build on this.

I would have left Price in until he got rocked. Just me.

I'm calling it now, the Jays batters are just going to go down trying to be heroes. I hope I'm wrong but we've seen this same song and dance before.

No, they are not. The Royals have no special ablity to hit with runners in scoring position. No team does. They've just been lucky enough to do it this series better than the Jays in less opportunities.

Plan on their batted ball luck running out against the Mets.

Yes, you are likely correct but it is inexperience. I won't fault them for that.

If they can't pull this out, I don't blame them. It has been a great ride.

The Royals didn't spend anything on the bullpen either. No team should.

Well. Lead off guy on.

I'd be OK with JD smashing a homer right now.
