@SNstats: Marco Estrada finishes with a Game Score of 73, which ranks as the 2nd best start in #BlueJays playoff history

Marco Estrada, in 2 post-season elimination games:
2-0, 14IP, 8H, 2ER, 1BB, 9K
197 pitches, 129 for strikes.
Works out to I believe a 1.28 ERA, and a 0.64 WHIP. Talk about clutch.
Yowzers. Someone's getting paid.

Nice bonus run there, but why was Pillar going for 3?

Osuna closes it out by getting the heart of their order out on 5 pitches (4 strikes).

The fact that they got to Volquez and got the job done with small ball has to be confidence booster. On to KC!

Big win! There's no way a guy as good as Price can continue to pitch poorly in the postseason. I think he's due.

2 out of 3 at home which realistically is what you needed coming back home down by 2.
Series is going back to KC and Jays have a little momentum.

He pitched pretty well until the 7th inning in game 2, and in hindsight he should have come out after 6 but that's the trouble you run into when you don't have confidence in your bullpen. He was also pretty good in long relief last series earning a win, so I'd say he's found his game in the postseason.

The Jays getting to KC's bullpen today definitely gives the Jays some swagger and should take a little skip out of KC's step.

I don't agree that he should have came out in the 6th. Had a decent pitch count and was dominating. The unlucky Goins mistake completely let the air out of his tired. That shouldn't have rattled him the way it did.

Here's hoping that Price can dominate again like he did through 6 last time.
Ventura is not going to be easy.

A week and a half ago it was looking like the Jays may only get 3 disappointing playoff games after such a great season. Now, we are about to play game 11. One at a time. Keep surviving. Too much fun to end now.

Help, save, whatever.

So how much money us Estrada going to get paid next year and should the Jays consider re-signing him?

Jays have now won 4 straight elimination games after having never won one before in their entire history.
Hopefully at least two more in them this year.

I like our chances with Price on the mound on Friday. The guy wants it more than anyone.
What more can you say about Estrada, he is automatic. He just shut down the Royals in an elimination game.
Get to game 7. Anything can happen.
Go Jays!
Man this has been fun.
