Wow, please just try a game with Ortio?
Gio and wides
Russell and Kulak
Hamilton and engelland
For the next game please. Gio was too concerned with covering for Dougie to play his game. He doesn't have to do that with Brodie.
He needs to be playing with a more experienced player. Poor Hamilton just isn't ready for top pairing minutes here yet. It isn't working and I think Hartley finally realized it.

They should have dressed Ortio as the backup one of these nights to try and get him into the game without pressure, as was bound to happen given how dreadful the entire team has been.
Not that this is goaltending at the root because the team just has nothing good about them.

The term "generational talent" is so overused. Unless it's two players that are miles ahead of the rest of the league (Gretzky and Lemieux), that saying should only be used on a max of one player every 10+ years.
Matthews looks like he'll be a very good player though.

We can really only afford about 25 more losses the rest of the way and here's still 76 games left. We're not showing signs of breaking out any time soon either.
Pretty much getting into "We're ####ed" territory. Please don't quote the 8 game skid from last year. That team played fairly well during a lot of that stretch and can't be used to compare. We were unlucky to go 0-8 then, this is totally justified. We should be getting negative points for the last 2 games they've been so bad.
