The old trainwreck GTs are back. At least something is entertaining on nights like these.

The Sportsnet panel is all over Hamilton too. "Soft plays".
This is déjà vu with Bouwmeester. Jeez

Stajan, Frolik and Jooris have all looked good. And Monny and Johnny. Everyone else has been a dumpster fire...particularly our D.

Hudler and Ferland are two players I totally forget are even playing.
Not to say the rest are ok, far from it, but I don't even remember hearing Hudler's name tonight.
I'm guessing Hartley shakes up everything in the 3rd, you got nothing to lose.

But who isn't giving Ortio a shot?
Who hasn't broken up a Hamilton/Giordano pairing that clearly isn't working?
Who hasn't made any adjustments to our system which teams have clearly figured out?
Look, don't get me wrong, I think Hartley has been excellent here, I love the guy, but every coach has to go eventually. It was merely a suggestion to generate discussion, which frankly I think is valid after a 1-5 start.

I don't understand how this is the same team as last season.... We are really missing Brodie. He is just plain more important than most people thought to this team.
Hamilton needs to ride the pine for the rest of this game. Terrible and soft. How can he play soft like that?
If he isn't angry after playing like that in the 2nd, then I'm not sure what ca be done. If he gets a chance to play again in the 3rd, he better step his sorry @ss game up!
Blah, so frustrating, this whole team tonight.

I think Treliving shakes things up in the next 48 hours.

So far this team is proving all the naysayers from last year that the 2014/15 Flames really were a fluke. Seriously, WTF is wrong with this team? It's scary how bad they are right now. This is Oiler level stink. Really hope they can turn things around soon. Maybe this is our 8-game losing streak for this season, and they're just getting it out of the way early?
Christ, they're bad right now.

Winnipeg started 2-5 last season and finished with 99pts. The Flames can overcome this start too, but not the way we are playing now. They say you usually you see a team play better before they break a losing streak. Well, I don't see 3rd period miracle coming tonight, and we play Detroit next game. Ugh, this could get worse before it gets better...

Flames look like they have no idea what to do with the puck. Just booting it all over the ice. At this point it feels like if any Flame not named Gaudreau makes a pass to a teammate it was probably by accident.

McLean absolutely ripping Hamilton's preparation apart. For once, I agree with him.

Brodie isn't going to save this team right now. They look worse than bad.

You can see Frolik getting frustrated too. I almost want to see Bennett-Colborne-Frolik.
It's getting to the point where the Gio-Hamilton pairing isn't working. It's almost a given at this point that Hamilton gets slid down to the third pairing when Brodie gets back. It's quite telling that Gio-Brodie make the world go round.

He's been lost out there. I thought he was still hurt until I saw him walking down the tunnel at the end of the 2nd period.

He's with Bennett and Backlund and that line has been invisible.
