Anyone remember in that Jets pre-season game where I said offense was going to be a major issue this year and people would be surprised? I remember people telling me it was only pre-season, but this looks exactly like I foresaw... how many games until we can say it's a major issue and this regression was easily predictable?

That Hamilton penalty just sums him up. He's a 6ft 5in d man and when Oshie gets that into the zone, I'm expecting Hamilton to smash him into the boards. Instead, he does a weak poke check and lets Oshie get round him, then holds him for good measure. Sorry, you bench him for the rest of the night and then press box him Saturday. Got to send a message that nobody is untouchable.

I can't say I've ever seen a guy of his build play such a buttersoft game. It's embarrassing to watch him flounder about at the moment. Got to take him out of the firing line.

Lots of Hamilton comments, but can anyone say they're impressed by a single player? To a man, this team looks brutal.

Screw off.... Its not him playing badly. It's also the player turn over in the off season. It's only the 6th game in and the team just haven't gelled .

I'm not thrilled with him either, but that would be a little drastic.

Some of the comments on this board are as brutal as the play in the 2nd.

Flames are desperate to make a move at this point I think.

Flames were suppose to be this bad last year. Not this year.

Playing stupid instead of simple. Doesn't even look like they're trying.

Maybe. He's done a great job laying the foundation at the start of this rebuild, but I'm not sure he's the guy who will be coaching when the team becomes contenders. The Kings brought in Sutter and the Hawks brought in Quennville when they needed to take the next step - maybe the Flames need to do the same. They might not be at the same level tose two teams were at, but it's something to think about.

They're playing way too loosely in their own end. I know Hartley likes his defense to jump up into the rush a lot and give them a lot of freedom, but it doesn't look like there is any structure in their own end.

For the season, I've really liked Gaudreau and Frolik. Stajan has been great in his role, too.

Honest question. Is Hudler scratched? I haven't heard his name or seen him on ice or am I just missing him?

I know its an unpopular topic but bennett has been pretty underwhelming so far. I love the kid but if he hadnt played in the playoffs last year, there is talk about sending him down right now
