Where do you see me questioning whether they had any other options? They didn't, I agree. You can't be a contender though and have question marks like Dickey. Hopefully this is his last year, and it's addressed in the offseason.

They don't even have Hutchison or Buerhle available since they aren't on the 25 man roster for this series. One of them should have been on it since obviously they can't be worse than what we've got.

There's no way either of those guys start in the playoffs, but Buerhle should have been in the pen once Cecil went down unless he has an injury we are unaware of.

Will be too bad if this all ends tomorrow, but if it does - at least its at home so the fans can send the team off with a proper ovation for a season everyone will remember for a long time.
If they managed to extend it, they'll have a day of rest for the pen and then Price & Stroman for games 6 & 7.
There could still be some fun left yet.

Pitching has not been good, but really, 2 runs against Chris Young? 6 hits total?
All this talk about home field advantage and the powerhouse offense and that's all you can generate?
Based on the starts and the runs the starters have given up all playoff long, the Jays would have lost this game regardless.

Very true you don't win a game with two runs, but that top of the 1st set the stage of the rest of the game. You can't have that. No momentum before it starts.

No real choice when Hawkins and Tappara couldn't get anybody out. Someone has to pitch. (LOL! Guess that someone is going to be Pennington!)
Honestly, if Estrada, Sanchez and Osuna can't handle the Royals tomorrow, it doesn't really matter about using Lowe today.
