I think what most people realize is they are potentially putting their livelihood at stake if things remain the same, the conservatives don't control the price of oil, and when the economy is so heavily reliant on that industry to the point where jobs outside that industry are affected when it isn't booming, you are putting all your eggs in one basket and risking it all. Regardless of who is in charge in Ottawa, this province needs to diversify its economy, I think most people are tired of the roller coaster ride of relying on oil booming that they are willing to try something else to create a little stability, even if that means some growing pains along the way. They have been voicing their displeasure of status quo since the provincial election.
