My Cdn friend in WA state is watching on globalnews.ca. I imagine CBC will be streaming it as well.

I for one am welcoming National Energy Program V2.0. Never really did like having equity in my home, or a job.... or food.

Back to 32-0-0.

There is going to be a long lull until the rest of the country starts counting.

Don't see why.
There have been plenty of Liberal gov recently, some good ones even.
The NDP would have been an entirely different story, and if the early indications are of their significant demise federally, I for one will applaud this elect result wholeheartedly.

Doubtful. The Conservatives will get more seats in Ontario and the West than the NDP will in Quebec. And Atlantic Canada is a bloodbath for both the NDP and Conservatives.

But I would say that start to Atlantic Canada pretty much wraps up a Liberal majority if they hold it all.

Yeah i had totally forgotten about the Senate.

How can Mulcair abolish the senate anyways? Needs constitutional reform. Something Harper could not even touch.

I was kinda hoping to have the bird flipped my way again. Then again I'm a sucker for tradition.

Or you will see your income tax go down, potentially a CPP increase (that you would see come back), and a government with more environmental credibility which could soften opposition to US Canadian oil imports.

Still too early to think Liberal majority. Remember the CPC has the vaunted Ford factor to possibly steal some seats.

I have a hunch that QC gives the Libs a major push while giving the Bloc official party status again.

He's delusional. Most NDP support was in Quebec, and given how they were bleeding in the polls, and given it is Quebec, much of that was going to go Liberal. Especially since the zombified corpse of the Bloc didn't do much.

Long waits in mahogany. Being told by ec reps I'm over an hour out still. Been in line for 30 minutes already....

Hope he estimates time like Microsoft progress bars do.
