Voted at the Tailsman at 7:30 and it was a ghost town. I guess most people vote during/After work.

If the Provincial Election thread is any indication, we will continue to post here for the next 4-5 years.

Pre-marked ballots, oddly enough usually for the conservative candidate, showing up across the country:

I agree that that's what the Conservatives *should* do if they want to get back into government. But if they get shut out in most major urban centers except prairie cities and Quebec City, it's not necessarily going to be popular in those constituencies for the party to move toward the center of the political spectrum. I think it'll be a very messy fight for the direction of the party.

Just got back from AE Cross. Small line, about 8 polling stations. In and out in 5 minutes. Brought my reg card with me so I was able to skip the line (most people didn't bother it looks like).
Now to sit back and wait for Harper's Concede Speech.

Well... purge is going a bit far. If they have any intention of competing next time out (assuming they don't win this time) they need to hope that the face of the party isn't an angry white male from the west. the old reformer core is something they need to keep but after 10 years of Harper if they choose someone from that core again... well it just wouldn't look good.
Trouble is that their bench is so weak that if they want that they'll need to look from outside the current caucus. If I were they I'd be drunk dialing Cherest & Lord sometime tonight.

I imagine it will go something like this:
Then he'll go home, and get into his favorite sweater vest.

Can't believe I did it, but I voted NDP. Mulcair seemed the most honest of the bunch (that's not saying much). Trudeau's just too much of a smarmy punk. JMHO.

Nice features on the CBC election website, particularly being able to 'favorite' ridings that you're interested in so you can keep track of them more easily through the evening.

I live in the Foothills riding and voted John Barlow of the Conservatives. He was the only candidate who bothered to knock on my door and answer any questions I had. None of the others left pamphlets or knocked so they lost any chance of getting my vote.
I noticed that CP member Jane Morgan's husband Cory was on the ballot running as a Libertarian.

Trudeau reminds me of a used car salesman who would do or say anything to to make a sale. Talks a good line but isn't believable. Spending our way to prosperity is going to put us in debt for years to come.

I have had the Conservatives come to my door once very early in the campaign, then the Liberals and NDP came 3 times each. I live in Toronto Centre - the NDP's Linda McQuaig (leave it in the ground) vs Bill Morneau of the Liberals. I voted Bill!

Liberals in the lead with 80% of the popular vote and 100% of the seats!*
*3 ridings out of 338 reporting.
