With Brodie and Smid close to returning the Flames are in a position to move a Dman to the Jackets. Not sure Smid, or Engellend are the answer Columbus is looking for

Who would you send to the jackets and what would you ask for? This team needs skill and size...what about Rene Bourque? White text is cooler than green text
Any chance they'd trade Jenner?

not sure the Jvlets would move one of their solid youngsters for our vet D?
Keep hearing Atkinsons name in years past. He is youngish but small so likely not the fit the Flames would want. I do think we need another top 6 winger

There is no way the Devils trade Larsson. He's their franchise player.

Now the Jackets have made the coaching change I would expect them to give Torts time to turn these guys around prior to making any major trades.
The worst team in the league made a big change and now the ball is in the court of the GM of the 2nd worst team in the league who deserves some blame for saddling his team with a horrible goaltender situation. How long until the Flames make some sort of move? It won't be the coach getting fired but a goaltender clearly has to go and possibly another player or two off the roster.

Why on Earth would New Jersey do that? Larsson finally started putting it together last season and they just signed him to a six-year extension. Depends what else would be in that package but if you're CBJ you make that trade before Shero sobers up.

Also right now the Flames excess depth, at forward, defense and goaltender, plus they are playing terrible hockey. A trade has to be coming soon if the Flames loose one more.

New Jersey has no reason to move Larsson. He's just coming into his own as an NHL defenseman. The BJ's may target him, but I doubt they get him.
