5 shots through the beginning of the 2nd to halfway through the 3rd.
First shot in the 3rd came 10 minutes in.

Way too many unforced turnovers on crap passes, time to give Ortio the ball, as Hiller & Ramo have been mediocre.

Sorry but NHL goaltenders can't let in that goal at any time in a game let alone the final two minutes of a tie game. Sure the team didn't play well but they were two minutes away from getting at least a point and a mistake from Ramo cost them a point and chance at two. There can be no dispute as bad as some other players were tonight that he's the goat for letting that in.

I think that we are still doing fine. Last year nobody expected the Flames to go anywhere, which is why we caught lots of people by surprise. This year, other teams know we are more of a threat so are playing us accordingly.

Jack Adams winner Bob Hartley needs to figure out his goalie situation. I've been as pro-Ramo as anyone but a goal like that is simply unacceptable. Potential two points evaporate just like that. Waivers and a trip to Stockton?

Ramo was solid for most/all of the game (I'll argue he has has the WORST rebound control out of all the goalies in the stable). Deflating goals are deflating though and the timing was the worst. A 50 save game could look utterly amazing only to let in the one stinker with 90 seconds left to lose the game and the noose will always be out. Those kind of goals always erase any good work put in before hand.

sure it was a terrible goal, but the Flames were probably not going to win this game one way or another.
We need to give ourselves a better chance to win

Yeah, it was a bad goal and it came behind a brutal team.
The Flames didn't even come close to deserving to win tonight. So lets focus on the team and not the goaltending, because it's dishonest.

That's what happens when Flames play the biggest team in the league.
And Ramo is let's in a brutal goal

Ramo played well minus the gwg... The ice was horrible, I don't know if it's like that all the time in Winnipeg but that would be frustrating to watch. Other than the first line, there was no sustained ozone pressure. Do we see Hiller or Ortio tomorrow? Everyone needs to be better.

Maybe now is the time to give Orito a chance.

To top it all off, the Jays are currently getting their asses handed to them by the Kansas City pitching staff. Just a brutal sports night all around.

Thank god I'm off on my honeymoon tomorrow.
Hopefully by the time I'm back the Flames are on a 3-0 roll!

No it's not. The Flames won games like this last season and lots of good teams over an 82 game season win games they derisive to lose. Very good chance the Flames win the game 3 on 3 and the shootout is a tossup. I get some of you like Ramo but that goal can't go in and I would be saying the same thing if it was Hiller or Ortio.

I just don't see how that's more concerning than the team generating only 5 shots in a 30 minute segment

You'd think with all the Hamilton hype in the offseason people would have more to say about that. Right now I feel like we're looking at the next Jay Bouwmeester

That game was awful, I think a 3-1 loss was lucky on our part. Outside of the first period I didn't see too much urgency from the flames.
