It's interesting that Carroll received a penalty on the play when one of the SJ players had an even more severe hit on Hathaway and there was no call.

That was an unfortunate breakaway. Nothing Gillies could do.

Stevenson took a shot and the puck bounced around the boards to a cuda player for the break and he fired it blocker side for the goal.
