Gio is still rusty but he is showing that never quit attitude. Wonder if Hiller continues, he played a game that I would put him for the next.

Flames need to figure out how to play close to 60 minutes. That 2nd period, once again, was horrible. Too many passengers. We need more contributions throughout the line-up and we need a far better possession game. Like, where was the effort that we showed in the 3rd period in the 2nd? We probably could've had this game if they didn't play like crap in that period.
I expect much better from the Flames next game.

I'd roll with Hiller in the next game IMO. He didn't cost the Flames that game at all. The team did as a whole. Gio needs Brodie. Hamilton should be the #3 D man once Brodie gets back.
Also, Bouma's replacement should be Granlund, not Jooris.
