On the ground before the bag IMO but most certainly before making contact with Tejada, also hand over the bag as he goes by.

All I'm saying is this happens daily during the season...and no one ever gets suspended for it. So why change the rules in the middle of a playoff round?

I know Toronto very much could not make it out of the DS, but I'm still a little bummed about the Royals most likely going down. Tor-KC ALCS would've been intense

			This Astros choke...
I really need to make Houston/Arlington my next ball trip though. That park in Houston looks amazing.

What a collapse by Houston. Should have been home free.

Cubs, probably, have slayed the "Curse of Billy Goat." First post season win, EVER, at Wrigley Field (park was built in 1914). Wow.

False, they won game 2 if the 2003 NLCS at home. I'd have to check but I think they would have won a NLDS game that same year too.

My bad, first series-ending win in Wrigley Field. It's basically Chicago's first time to truly "party" at Wrigley Field.

Live in Houston and I can definitely say it is a nice looking ball park. But the atmosphere is pretty dead during the season. Maybe some sustained goodness from the 'Stros would help.

I am really pulling for an Astros/Jays ALCS. I think it will happen.

What do the Cards do now? Only one title to show for all the great regular season success. Like the Braves used to be.

No offence, but did you just forget 1926, 1931, 1934, 1942, 1944, 1946, 1964, 1967, 1982, 2006, and 2011. Are you trying to suggest that the Cardinals are chokers? Because they're certainly not...just got beat by the hotter team. They'll be one of the top teams again next year. Cardinals are the Yankees of the National League, but they might not win again next year because it's an even numbered year...baseball gods usually save the World Series Pennants for the San Francisco Giants on even numbered years.

2 titles in the past 10 years looks damn good to a non Patriots or Giants fan.
This year's Cards felt like a Money ball team. Able to win consistently enough over a 162 game sample size, but vulnerable to a short series.
