October 12 - 5 games
Lightning @ Bruins 6-3 (finished)
Jets @ Islanders 2-4 (finished)
Blue Jackets @ Sabres - scoreless after 20
Panthers @ Flyers
Canucks @ Ducks
The Bruins look horrible so far ... they've lost all 3 home games now and have conceded 16 goals. Wouldn't be surprised if they chose to blow it up, trade their aging core and make a full rebuild soon.
Stamkos earned his 500th NHL point in the victory. And the Islanders get their first win in Brooklyn.

If only the Bruins had a young stud defenseman to rebuild around!

Bruins are trash. Bergeron, Rask and Krejci are the only good players on that team.

And Eichel has been really impressive. Hard to believe he's only 18.

Great back check to strip the Jacket, then a laser beam of a wrist shot. As you said, really impressive

Wow that's quite a goal - strength, skating, hands.

The whole sequence holy. Looked like one of those vets who just wills his team to victory.

With two goals, Eichle has 2 more goals than all of the Edmonton Oilers combined.

Eichel has a crazy reach for not being a giant. Looks like the Goalie Bob lets in a bad goal (probably still did), but the way Eichel leaves the puck trailing even further from his body changes the angle of where the puck is coming from compared to what a Goalie would expect based on where his body is

On an unrelated note, I have a feeling Team USA's top line will feature Gaudreau-Eichle at some point in the near future in best on best tournaments. Could be a scary good combo.

So Julien has to be on life support now, hey?
Gotta think the plug will be pulled shortly.

Wow, Eichel looks really good. Calling it now, he wins the Calder this year.

I've been lucky enough to be involved with the Make-a-Wish foundation before, and tonight's opening for the Ducks game is another great example of their work.
