The NFL cannot bar a player for their views. However, a team can choose not to hire a player based on their views. The social media scorn needs to be directed at the right place here

Greg Hardy can play at a high level. Unless he is physically in prison, he will always have a job in the NFL. The social media scorn can be apocalyptic levels and it won't matter. Imagine social media existing during the Ray Lewis fun....it still wouldn't matter, he played at a high level. This will take care of itself most likely because Hardy appears to be one of the least self aware, incredibly stupid individuals there is. He likely will get himself in jail which will end it for him.
Now that said Hardy does deserve credit because after an offseason of Deflategate, everyone will now be cheering New England Sunday to lay a titanic beatdown on the Cowboys. Here's hoping it's an 84-10 win for New England. Cowboys are much worse of a scum team than the Pats.

For the first time in years I elected not to get Sunday Ticket this year, and I'm severely regretting it. There's only so many times you can watch the Seahawks or Cowboys. Think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet next week, it's killing my NFL interest without it

Ya, I don't miss a single Pats game without Sunday ticket. I do have Atlantic CTV, which shows every Pats game played at 11am, but rarely need to go there- seems like most Pats games are national.
Also Senator, the Pats may be many things, but how are they a scum team, especially in the context you are using it with Hardy and the Cowboys?

Yeah, that's the drawback of not cheering for a "traditional" team. My two best friends in town here are Steelers and Cowboys fans and they both probably catch their team around 12 times a year without Sunday Ticket. Even back when the Saints were contenders it would never be more than maybe 5. Idk what I was thinking this year..

I agree its obvious that certain teams get shown locally more than others. Seattle is obvious because of geography, the others are because of popularity/how good they are.
The reason I am a GB fan is because when I was a kid and there was maybe 2 games shown every weekend among the 3 local channels, the Packers were almost always one of them. Why, I'm not sure but may have something to do with being a "Northern" team.

What is with the redzone coverage of Jaguars-Bucs today? Ya, lots of scoring so far, but probably the least appealing game of the day.

Hell I feel like even the Bears have been on TV every week this season. Wut? Yeah I've deff gotta order it for next week, for some reason I was quite excited for Saints/Eagles. Haha I'm all grumpy today now. Watching the games sans Sunday Ticket for the first time in 7-8 years and just relying on the cable games has reminded me why I grew up hating the Seahawks.
For new NFL fans looking for a team, how much they're shown on TV should def be a big factor in your choice, if you don't wanna spend $60/month.

I don't care how well the TV folks tell me Andy Dalton is playing...he's still not that good and it bothers me that nobody points it out.

was going to say, Bears might have a chance this game, Charles injury, blocked FG and now a good drive.
