Gillies is definitely the real deal. But he has a learning curve ahead of him of course - no pro games yet.

Was voted our 3rd best prospect this summer, behind Bennett and Poirier. If the vote were re-done today, he would probably be 2nd, or 3rd behind Ferland. But Ferland and Bennett are NHlers.

I'm happy about my Ferland vote for #2 ahead of Poirier.. Still hope Poirier can be awesome though..

No, Nurse isn't a thug. He has good size and doesn't back down when challenged, but isn't a goon.

He got Flame fans pissed in the summer when he show-boated after fighting an 18 year old Swede that is much smaller than him and had never fought before.

Delta Bravo move, but unless it becomes a trend, we'll move on.

Hunter Smith wanted to have a go with him and Nurse kept telling him no until he stopped saying no and proceeded to kick Mr Smith's behind pretty good.

Then just stood over the top of him and just shook his head. Kind of funny I thought.
