It's a Toronto sports team, you should have expected this to happen. Cleveland North.

I just hope they don't blow it up if they do lose. Lots of first time playoff performers in this group but it's still a great lineup that's controlled for much of next year.

Haha was just gonna say that, this is a vintage Toronto sports team in the playoffs. Remember the Raps last spring?

Also don't think it's over yet, Dickey and Estrada have been good all year. Just need to get it back to T.O
Team has been much better has the hunter vs the hunted anyways

Actions speak louder than words.
I'm still very proud of this team for all they've done this season and their incredible turnaround, but they completely whimpered out after winning the division, and are now on the verge of being swept.
Again, disappointing.

Most of the team (rotation aside) is still controlled through next season. This wasn't supposed to be a one hit wonder by any means.

It doesn't even matter about the controversial call at second in the top of the 14th. You can't let two base runners get on base in the 14th when you have 2 outs and no one on base. Pretty terrible showing these past two games. You can forgive the first game for the hype and the jitters....but not again. Disappointing that we're a game away from not evening winning a game in the post season.

Haha, what a bunch of whiners. You wanted playoff baseball, here it is. Sure it's not going how we imagined, but it's fun! I wish we could see this more often.

Hopefully a new manager next year.
I don't care who is up, you manufacture runs in extra innings. Twice the leadoff runner was aboard. You have to move him. Steal, bunt, whatever. Something

Pretty dumb that the MLB has the decision on whether to play with the Dome open or closed. Some pretty well hit balls that just haven't carried unless they are line drives. Also some pretty terrible Umping that is not acceptable in a MLB Playoff game.
I am not sure why we have Tulo hitting 5th when Martin was doing fine in that spot.

Cecil tore his calf as per Gibbons.
So, so disappointing for the guy and the team. Jeez. When it rains it pours.

Have to be philosophical about this. There are only 2 teams I have ever really cared about (with all due respect to the New York Football Giants), and for a few years in 1988-1993 things were looking not too bad, a few brutal Flames chokes notwithstanding... Why did I start to care again?

This. Proud of the boys... but the experience will definitely benefit them. Baseball is a hard sport. There's still game 3 in Texas, and as long as AA is still the GM and Rogers is spending $$$, this is the team to beat in the AL East.

Ugh.. according to Gibby, Cecil has a tear in his calf muscle now... unlucky Toronto Sports Teams syndrome.

Speaking of KC, the Royals batters got some clutch plate appearances in. Tied at 4 now.
