I'm voting strategically tomorrow. My riding is solid orange which sucks.

Which riding? Some of the "solid orange" ridings have a shot at going Green, which is where I directed my vote.

Okay, yeah, you might be screwed. Looks like the Greens are running fourth there and if you're voting strategically then the NDP is probably your best bet.

Aye. Too bad the Liberals didn't pick up here. But the Cons have some significance in this riding so f them.

Better than being in a riding that's over 80% blue. This is the first national election I've really wanted to participate in, yet knowing that my vote means nothing is very disheartening

I would still get out and vote. At least if the party you vote for's popular vote goes up, it could mean something in future elections. On another note, interesting to see that the EKOS poll shows that 1 in 4 Canadians are planning to vote strategically. I wonder if that bumps the Liberal vote up a bit more, or if it's already been taken into account.

Looks like the NDP is bleeding voters to the Liberals - strategic voting?
If not for vote splitting on the left between Liberals and NDP, PCs would be buried deep.

I'd rather the Conservatives win the odd election than be stuck with a two-party system.

I agree. I don't like how the US is divided into two camps.
I'd also be in favour of proportional representation.

The multi-party system gives you a legitimate place to put your vote if you don't like the big two, you have a choice other than "Don't vote"

A bad CPC candidate helps. Crockatt barely won the by election.
