On the Rag's/'Hawks game:
I think that 'Hawks' lines 1,2 and 4 were good to very good, they just need some time to get used to playing in these combinations, to improve anticipation and timing...Line 3, well, Shaw was active, Baun and Bickell, useless. On D...Rundblad was a disaster...TVR and Daley seemed tentative...they all spent some time pinned in the zone (even #4 and #2) against an active Rag's forecheck...I expect Svedberg to get a look fairly soon, and Rundblad returned to the Rock...
Crawford started slowly...but, those were wicked chances by the Rag's, and the D left CC out to dry...he improved greatly as the game went on.
On the officiating...from about the 10 minute mark of the 3rd, I don't think a mass murderer would have gotten called for mayhem...truly gutless non-calls...and WTH with the wave off? Lundqvist's pad wasn't even flush with the ice! how can that be called "play complete"? What a joke.
I did love Bettman accepting the boos, during the banner ceremony, he seems to expect nothing less!
