I think the most disappointing thing so far is how exactly the same things look as they did last year minus what is likely the end result of this game.

Badly outshot, yet I don't actually feel like they've been as badly outplayed as the shots would suggest. They look dangerous only in short bursts, and lots of over passing.

Not seeing the progression or changes brought by the new acquisitions, but that's the problem with the first 10 games of a season with expectations, you over think and analyse a small sample size. Still not much to be impressed by minus the first 5 minutes for Flames fans.

Down 4-1 in the third, being beaten by the Canuckleheads, and having to listen to Romanuk on the PBP - this season opener couldn't go much worse!

Haven't gotten into the laddie much myself. Have a Dalmore cigar malt, that (as the name would suggest) goes pretty well.

There's no way to describe the flames offensive play other than dumb. Poor decisions.

Feel bad for ramo. 1 bad goal but team bent over in front of him.

For sure. AFAIK defense men have a bigger effect on possession than forwards, so getting Brodie into the lineup could make a big difference. Biggest problem is they look completely disjointed in the offensive zone.

Probably a good way to start the season to be honest.....might have to do more than just throw the sticks out on the ice to beat an nhl squad.

Wake up call

Looking bad. Blind passes and not moving their legs. Out hustled, which is not common around here.

Get them Saturday.
