Smilin' hank is on fire today
If you aren't watching the labour day classic, you should turn it on, Burris is playing amazing!
Edit, whoops, wrong forum, thought I was in the 'other sports' forum.

He is on fire today. Lets hope he can keep it together in the second half. Very good game so far!

I thought that this was Labour Day weekend game was a big deal.
Just flipped channels to check it out, the stands are empty.

Well, the Stamps were on fire for half a game, like usual.
Doing their best to choke it away in the 2nd half.

Good. As soon as I criticize the Stamps, they return to first half form.

Well, outside of parts of the third quarter, that was a mighty impressive game.
But why the heck did the Stamps steal the Hitmen's goal horn?

Yeah, because nobody uses that horn anywhere... That's the most generic horn you can find.

Calgary just dominated Edmonton today. With the amount of hits Ricky took and only a four day rest, Calgary could easily destroy the Eskie's on friday

Hopefully the Stamps can put up this type of effort again on Friday. I'd love nothing more than to see a 3-8 Edmonton Eskimo team.

It's been a good summer to hate Edmonton.
Great effort by the Stamps today, and the first time I've actually seen the Stamps win on Labour Day (in person). The Esks fans seemed a lot less annoying this year.

nothing for them to be annoying about, really. Defending GC champs was what I heard from the guys behind me, but saying 3-6 shut 'em up pretty quickly. What shocked me was the lack of Eskimo fans in the stands. Sure, it shouldn't be in Rider Fan territory, but there's usually more of a presence...

Irrelevent
And obviously you have no suggestion as to why the Stamps would do something as lame as using a hockey-style horn to celebrate a football touchdown.

not sure why, but I kinda liked it. It added a little somethin' extra after a TD. Personally, I liked hearing the horn that often today.
