Maybe head to The Bay and look for jackets with European fits; Strellson, Boss, etc

Buy yourself a nice wool overcoat, cut slim.

There are some out there now with 'technical' liners that you can button in and out.

Theory tends to go really small (I'm 5'10, 160 and barely fit into their largest size). They can be a bit expensive for what you get, but their stuff is nice for a professional setting.
