Default Best place to park and ride to McMahon?

Sorry for starting a new thread for this but I know that this is probably the best place to get help with this!

I'm coming from Red Deer for the game tomorrow and need help in deciding where to get the C Train from. This is my first time going on the train and my first time to McMahon so any help is really appreciated.

Thanks.

If you were ambitious you could park at Brentwook Park-N-Ride and walk to the game. It's about a 20 minute walk. I'm pretty certain it's the closest park-n-ride to the stadium. If you take the train, it's $2.25 one way per person.

You can find a map and other stuff here:

If you're hellbent on the Park & Ride, go to Brentwood Station off Crowchild and Brisbois drive. But honestly, there's better & cheaper ways to park when going to the game.

I'm assuming there's going to be more than one of you going, so parking at the University is a good option. I'm not sure the exact costs...somewhere around $3.25-$3.75. That saves you on $2.25 fare per person per trip.

I'd normally suggest parking in the neighborhood off Crowchild and 24th Avenue, however, with the game on a Monday and it being during the day, even though it's a holiday, I would bet that the Parking Patrol will be out in full force.

Edit: Bronze, you're brilliant...but didn't come up with a better solution for the guy

Brentwood is by far the best place. Dont even consider a stop south of McMahon unless you want to get very close to your fellow man.

He's got two feet and a heartbeat! Or at least I'm assuming so if he's willing to use the LRT. I walk from very close to Brentwood Station for every game.

Thanks guys. I'll probably try walking from Brentwood, even though we have three kids in tow. We walk lots so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you're going to do that you mind as well park at the university.

Here's a map:

Just take Crowchild to 24th Ave and take a right at the street marked (Campus Drive). Take a right at the T-intersection and the parking lot will be right there on your right. Parking is around $3.50 and is pretty close to McMahon.

I used to always park there; even on Labour Day, and never got a ticket.

The preceeding message was brought to you by the too little too late foundation.
