I really want to like Shore but just can't, he's close but not close enough. There are others ahead of him like Granlund. Speaking of Granlund, how do you not keep him on this team? He's played well and can slot in up and down the lineup in a a pinch. Very versatile player.
Really like Kulak but top minutes in the A would be what's best for him. Same with Sieloff. There's something there but both need a little more time.
Buh bye Raymond and Wilson. Neither add anything to thus roster that younger better players don't. Admit the mistake and walk away from Raymond. Just awful.

Tony Gallagher today made a very good comparison for Sven, he is very similar to Mason Raymond, a skilled perimeter player who is inconsistent but will put up points and disappear in the playoffs.
May be the smartest thing Gallagher has ever said and probably makes the Sven and Raymond hate even stronger.

That doesn't sound like Patrick Kane, though. Can't Gallagher make up his mind?

You are getting the young Canuck superstars mixed up, it's understandable they have so many.
Shinkaruk is the next Patrick Kane.

Well Andrew Ladd( according to the tsn crew) said Petan is the next Kane . Overall in the nhl there are over 30 plus next Patrick Kanes . Every team compares their next best playmaker as the next Patrick Kane . To me this comparison means dick all anymore. Too many players are the next Patrick Kane. Petan , Shinkiruk, Johnny Hockey etc....

Agreed, minus one thing, and I'm not saying this as a homer, but Johnny is easily the closest thing I've ever seen on any team that resembles patrick kane.

Is it just me or has Pat Kane himself become quite overrated?
The guy's one dimensional and has only broke 80 points once.
There's like 20 players I'd take over him.

It's just you. Kane has a number of flaws in his game, but his puck possession skills are other worldly, and he is one of the most clutch performers in today's game.

What exactly is this years version of Gaudreau?
Does that mean he will get 64+ points, have a hat trick game that single handedly turns the season around, snipes a last 10 second goal the helps win a game in the second round of the playoffs.... etc....

One of a very select few point a game players almost since he was 18. Was on a torrid pace before he got hurt. What was Chicago's record without him? Dint remember exactly, but it was way worse

Can someone give me a recap of the rough stuff. How was Bolig and Ferland's fights? What was the third man in off the bench incident? who what why if you don't mind. Thanks

He's not what I would call a well rounded player but IMO he's one of the slickest players (nobody comes close to Mario Lemieux) I have seen in my life and arguably one of the most clutch. He's not as dedicated as say Crosby and other players that are work out warriors off the ice as he relies on his skill more than most players but what skill he has. Maybe the best hands of any player in the NHL including the great McDavid.

His one dimension is to win Stanley Cups.

Bollig probably lost his fight. I think he got caught off guard a bit as he was set to fight Raffl and Peluso jumped in. Good thing about Bollig is the guy is tough as nails and can take punches and still smile. He has a bit of Tie Domi in him.
Ferland and Buff wasn't a fight. They got into a scrum after the whistle and Buff pulled Ferland down and when they got up they were jawing at each other. Ferland came in to protect his teammates cause Buff was pushing them around. Nice to see.
