Not gong to disagree with what posters are saying about Raymond. The worst part is that was his best preseason game.

He did play better overall but that doesn't make up for all the other suckage out there tonight. Send him to the AHL, he doesn't deserve to be on this team.

Yeah. Raymond doesn't deserve a spot on the team.

Ok, for those of us that didn't have a visual tonight *grumble*, can anyone comment on Kulak, Nakladal, and Wilson? I get the impression Wilson was a little unreliable, but Kulak sounded more than solid. Nakladal? Did he impress anyone? Did he look recovered from his injury?

Maybe simply a case of giving him a shot to prove he deserves a spot.
I've tried so hard to remain optimistic about Raymond but he's Blake Comeau 2.0 for us.
Works pretty hard out there, does some good things, then messes up when it matters most.

After watching this tonight they can waive Raymond, Shore and cut Wilson before the plane leaves Winnipeg.

Kulak was the best of the three I think. Nakladal was alright, wasn't noticeable to me. Wilson didn't have a great game IMO. Maybe Nakladal isn't 100% yet, I haven't seen hi play much this pre season so I am not sure.
Kulak had some great rushes and shots at net, I like how he plays. No big defensive gaffs either. I hope BT keeps Kulak as the 6th dman and we don't sign Wilson. I don't think he brings something these guys can't provide.

Kulak looked the best of the three. Nakladal was middle of the road - some OK plays, looked lost on the power play (the whole team did, really). Wilson was the worst of the three. I thought he was a lock for a contract before this game. Now, I'm a bit hesitant to proclaim that.
My two cents.

I missed the first ~17 minutes of the 1st period, but what I saw was:
Wilson wasn't awful, but he just wasn't good enough to deserve a contract. Could he cut it as a replacement level #6D? I think so, but that's all. He's not a top 4 defenseman in any way.
Wotherspoon was Wotherspoon. Plays a very quiet, moderately effective game.
Nakladal was physical, and intelligent. I would love to have him on our bottom pairing.
Kulak deserves to make the team. I think he might even replace Kris Russell as our #4 defenseman in a year if we have to make a tough decision due to
the cap. No panic in the defensive zone, and a really good feel for jumping into the play offensively. I'm not sure I agree that he's TJ Brodie lite but he's got a very high upside.
I didn't notice Morrison at all. Did he even play?

Yeah, Wilson made some really awful gaffes. Like, many of them. Hopefully Kulak and Nakladal make it.

Shore has looked more and more "meh" as the pre-season has come closer to the end. I'm not sure he would even get picked up on waivers. That's a good thing in the long run if it happens.

This lineup sucked.
Good players make these players look better.
It's hard to evaluate.
