Ortio can't be letting in goals from there. of course it would help if somebody would cover their frachise centre.

This is reminding me of game 82 last year.

Too bad because that puck should have been cleared before the goal. Wotherspoon had possession but 2 Flames just drifted closer to him rather than giving him a passing option. Turnover.

Good to see Bennett back out after that introduction to the goal post.

Any upcoming decision about Ortio will not be rash.

The announcers are kind of funny. Not acknowledging that the Flames dressed a way worse line up than the Jets.

This game is painful. They're working hard but the talent level is a mismatch, clearly.

Entire game in our zone pretty much. Not fun to watch. Raymond, Engelland, Wilson not looking good.

Missed the 3rd goal. hoping a gif shows up for it.
18 saves on 21 shots through 2 periods isn't terrible.

Like I said
Engelland might not even be a 3rd pairing D in the AHL.

Its a TSN Jets show - for the Winnipeg market - not really surprising

The announcers spent a lot of time in the first period rattling off all the defencemen that the Flames weren't dressing tonight.

Engelland really gets exposed against skilled players. In a way, Hartley was setting Engelland up for failure even more than Ortio this game. Still he scored a goal and hit the crap out of Ehlers so I'm not going to be overly harsh on him.
In what world is it reasonable to expect Engelland to shutdown Winnipeg's top line and speedy youngsters. Maybe if he was paired with Brodie..
