Default Eberle out 4-6 weeks with shoulder injury

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/...jury-1.3250595

Quote:
The Edmonton Oilers announced Wednesday that forward Jordan Eberle will miss four to six weeks with a shoulder injury.
Eberle left Tuesday night's game against Arizona in the first period following a collision against the wall behind the Coyotes net.
He did not return.
Eberle, 25, was the Oilers' top scorer last season with 63 points(24 goals, 39 assists) in 81 games .
The Oilers begin their season Oct. 8 in St. Louis.

"Once Eberle comes back we'll be legitimate playoff contenders"

Is what many Oiler fans will be saying once the regular season begins and they go back to being cellar dwellers.

They'll be okay. McJesus will just have to be 14% more Jesusy which should be easy for the savior.

While I am never happy to see a player injured, it is hard to feel sorry for Mulletville.

Well the Oilers top 6 might actually throw an occasional body check depending on who they put up there, and they're bound to be slightly better defensively depending on who they put up there.

This is a test of the young poorly built Oilers. The Flames survived a stretch without Gio, and we'll have to do the same without Brodie for a while.

Can the Oilers tread water?

Can McHolyTrinity play two spots on one line?

Can Batman escape from this exaggerated BBQ grill before the sun rises?

For the answers to these and other questions, tune in for the next exciting espisode.

Same Bat Time

Same Bat Channel.

No way we are battling out Toronto for Matthews. TO is a very experienced tanking organization.

That coming from a fan base that has picked first overall 67% of the time over the last six drafts?

"the real reason McDavid didn't set any scoring records is because he didn't have Ebs on his wing to start the year"

Best toe-drag to shot block ratio in the league. That won't be replaced easily
