I usually don't post my negative opinions on a song. But this Sam Smith's Bond theme song is beyond terrible. I don't know if Sam Smith is wailing or moaning in it. This after Adele's excellent Skyfall from three years back which is one of the best Bond theme songs ever is ludicrous. Sam Smith might be a young hit maker but his style is not suited for a bond theme song.

I found it pretty unoffensive. Not spectacular, but not one of the worst either (I'm looking at you, Madonna).

I can see it fitting in to the opening credits just fine.

Adele had one of the best themes of all time ...so can't compare.

Haha that's hilarious, I didn't even listen to the youtube video as I'd been listening to it on Spotify. The one on Spotify is waaay better than the youtube video, but is still a terrible Bond theme song.

As somebody on reddit said, the song perfectly captures the essence of Sam Smith. Unfortunately the essence of Sam Smith is pure ####.

Real travesty that Shirley Bassey didn't get to have her theme be the one for Quantum of Solace. The "far from complete" version is 1000x better than Another Way to Die.

I hope she does one more before her singing career is over. As an ode to her being the dame of the bond themes.

EDIT: Two listens and I'm not digging the Sam Smith theme. Lana's Del Ray "24" from her latest album is much more fitting for a theme.
