The rule of law bit was solid shot though. The CPCs under Harper have had their asses repeatedly by SCC.

Every single time she chimes in I LOL.
Then I start picturing each candidate speaking in her voice, and I LOL some more.

I'm not even talking content. The fact its buried deep on the dial, the streams aren't good and the translator sounds like she's being held at gunpoint is just kinda sad.

That abortion debate was something Harper probably wanted to avoid.

I'm sorry, but a refugee woman's right to have an abortion here registers right above what color the drapes are at 24 Sussex drive for me in terms of election importance.

Crowd laughs at the Putin question which seems pretty out of touch.

No, but my vote isn't contingent on my sex.

Right, but I'm saying you probably don't care about the issue because it doesn't really affect you. That's not meant as an insult or anything, just reflection of how most people vote.

This Putin issue's a bit silly.
Really, it comes down to having the US as our neighbour and ally and the support of NATO. Otherwise Russia would do whatever they like - I doubt very much our leader's negotiating skills would change that.

They are out of touch. One of the requirements of the new Russian prototype tank, the Armata, is to operate in extreme arctic conditions. This doesn't even begin to bring up Russia's claim to the arctic.
And Mulcair hammers Trudeau on his strength as a leader.

Totally off-topic, but I was surprised how big of a deal Arctic sovereignty was when I was in Denmark. You even suggest that Canada has a claim to it and Danes tend to start frothing at the mouth.

Harper winning this one by clear margin so far. At least in English.
It's a big advantage being an incumbent PM in a foreign policy debate. The other candidates have never had to deal with international matters, and so will always be (and appear) far less experienced in the area.
