Riley has really surprised me. I was not expecting him to be so competent and defensively aware. He's been all over the ice and has really picked up the slack of his line mates.

Interesting to note that Emery apparently played terribly in his first start in Tampa. He's only on a try out and their normal backup is out for a long time. Ramo/Hiller would make sense in a trade with them.

I thought they were talking on the fan 960 Friday morning that Morrison isn't AHL eligible this year and he either stays in the nhl or goes back to junior - can anyone confirm???

I hate when they give a guy a penalty because the other player let go of his stick

He is, and the only reason he wasn't a top 15 pick is that he was 30 pounds overweight before the draft.
We got lucky with both Andersson and Kylington.

Morrison came from the NCAA and he is 23, so no.
Maybe thinking Andersson.

Fwiw, he turns 19 in like a month. But yes, he's very polished. He spent two years in Swedish Tier 2 as a 16/17 year old before heading to Canada for his draft year.

Morrison lost the plot defensively there. Wotherspoon left out to dry.
