You probably haven't lost someone very close to you based on that comment.
I lost someone extremely close, might as well have been my own child, a few years back, and was emotional at the time, but managed to hold it together. About a year and a half later, it actually hit me, almost like I woke from a dream. Let's just say I almost didn't make it through it.
These types of wounds can cut very deep, and sometimes take months or years, for them to start to bleed. And they can bleed profusely many years later.

Not too sure why everyone is coming down so hard on Bmuzyka. After all, he did not directly accuse anyone, just offered his opinion. If you look at online comments from newspaper articles, or on social media, there is a flood of people saying much much worse.
All I know is this is a terrible tragedy, and I hope that one way or another, if anyone did assist the suspect, they are charged. If not, they should be cleared.

Wow. Amazing to see the support. The Hailey & Terry Funeral Go fund me has hit over $20,000 in just one day!

The amber alert, the stress of the uncertainty and the final result of this has really taken a toll on me. I never met the family at all, but my kids are little and the whole situation just has me so sad. It's 1 in the morning a week later and i'm still lying awake about it.
rest in peace kid. hopefully there is a swingset with a really good slide and monkey bars for your dad to take you to up in heaven.

I'd love to see a funeral emergency fund set up so people who really need it can use it. Worrying about how you're going to pay to bury a loved one should be last on someone's mind.

If you can't afford a funeral social services will cover the basic expenses. You won't get flowers but you won't be indebted either.

True, but for a murdered little girl and her dad, it's nice to have more than just the bare bones at the ceremony.

I hope that some comfort the family gets will be from the whole town minus one family and many from other surrounding towns attending, not from how extravagant the funeral is. Not to take away from people's generosity and the nice move by the radio station -- that is awesome.

I am just addressing the claim she wasn't emotional enough. It's not unusual for people to have trouble grieving. We lost a co-worker a while back, and one of the people I work with who really liked the guy said "I feel bad I am not sadder. I have never had to deal with death before." And I just told him, there is no right or wrong way to feel.
Regardless. Without pointing fingers at anyone. I am with the side that thinks there is much more to this that will eventually come out. There is something very off about the whole situation, and definitely some big pieces missing. This was in no way random IMO.

What he was saying was strikingly similar to the Sandy Hook Conspiracy theories that focused around one of the fathers not bawling his eyes out meaning that he was in on it.

Let me guess. The mom is responsible for the senior in Coleman as well, because she didn't cry enough, or the right way, or have snot hanging out her nose or didn't flip her hair over her shoulder, just so.

Now there was a giant jump to conclusions.
I offered no theories, no conclusions myself. And none of it has to do with her reaction. I defended her on that. I just feel there is way more to this than we are being led to believe at this point. And that is strictly my personal opinion, and not a direct an accusation against anyone involved.

I still can't get over how someone could do such a thing, absolutely disgusting. It's nice to see the kind of public support the family has been receiving, and I'm sure the family appreciates it, but I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through.
Tough not to think about this, and everytime I do, I just get so upset. Sickening. I know we as a country have decided capital punishment is no longer ethical, and I agree with that.
But in a case like this, you have the guy dead to rights, and he commits such a horrible crime against someone who is so innocent and never had a chance to even really begin life... I say if the family wanted to let them pick the nicest tree in town, pick out some rope or piano wire I don't care, and string that SOB up. He doesn't deserve another day.

Eh, wasn't about your post pylon, sorry if you thought it was and i wasn't clear. It's a general and sarcastic reaction to the tone of some posts both here and elsewhere. Been reading all kinds of utter BS from the grief vampires who tear at their shirts and wail and throw themselves prostrate on the floor and who get a hold of the media to show how terribly empathetic and wonderful they are with their balloons on their porches and a million other things they're doing. It's been a bit over the top, some responses I've seen. All that whilst tearing the young mom to shreds in some particularly vile ways, when there hasn't been an ounce of proof that the police or the other family even consider her a suspect in anything. Just expecting to see that be the next accusation against her, because that's just how these people always are. The "logic" displayed in the different groups/forums I'm reading, is severely lacking (not talking about here so much - I tend to find the intelligence level here leaps & bounds ahead of/far greater than other places).
I feel sad all around, with this whole case. I even feel sad for the Saretskys and the crap they're getting because of their son's actions. It's just a horrible situation and now the possibility he's responsible for the elderly lady in Coleman...

The mother recently broke up with the murderer. He went after the child to get back at her, not the father, doing horrible things to her. The father died trying to save the child.

I'd be careful making that accusation without some sort of substantiation. It's OK to have theories, and keep them to yourself, but if you are wrong, what you have just said could be very libellous.

FYI, not saying the mother is connected, but police are now investigating a connection between the two murders. The senior in Coleman was neighbours with the accused's grand parents.

Thought it was connected. I think I read somewhere there hasn't been a murder in that town for years. Two in a few weeks seems fishy. Was he trying to be a serial killer?
