That pic of that bad doesn't seem like it would be too hard to "forge" as if it were the identical.

Not sure if it is Kane or the victim, but I feel like one side is playing games here.

With the leak of evidence being released (in Kane's favour), this feels like it could be a way to call into consideration the validity of the DNA evidence...or maybe the sample was tampered with...just a crazy crazy scenario.

Excellent work by the Kane defence team. The evidence tampering ensures that he walks. Well played sirs!

If he wants to play hardball, a generously funded slander and defamation suit could be brought against the victim and her family to rob them of all of their financial and physical assets, leaving them penniless and homeless, as a warning to any future young ladies .

Kane's legacy will be tarnished over this one. Yeah there were instances in the past but that was before the complete integration of social media into society. This is a bizarre story and nobody will forget it for a long time no matter what happens.

How many "someone's" would know the victims name, where her mother lives, the nurse who did the rape exam and what the envelope w/tag looked like?

Someone familiar with the case but maybe not directly involved.

The police claim that they still have the evidence and it hasn't been compromised, so I took it that the bag that showed up at the mothers was phony.

The head of the county agency responsible for maintaining evidence in such cases, meanwhile, said everything given to the agency by the investigating Hamburg Police Department is accounted for.
"This includes the evidence in the rape kit and the packaging itself," Erie County Commissioner of Central Police Services John Glascott said in a statement. "This evidence has been analyzed and reports of that analysis sent to the appropriate agencies."

Maybe this isn't the case as the story seems to contradict itself.

He said the bag is authentic, labeled with personal identifying information for the woman, details on where the rape kit was used and the initials of the nurses who administered the kit.

This was not a rape kit found at mothers address. It was the paper bag, empty. It was validated by experts including the nurse who said that was her initial (or whatever!) the puzzle is who put it there. Also why do the police say they haven't let anything out of their possession?

Very few people would know the things I stated, even the mother wouldn't know what the rape kit envelope would contain on the outside. It all points to dirty cops but one never really knows.
