Photo-Canvas Sale
West Canadian is offering photo canvasses for $29.99. Most of our Photo Canvasses sell for between $70.00 and $100.00 so this is a real special deal. There are three different sizes to choose from and they are all the same price for those two days only $29.99.
Starting 9am on Sat Oct 3 - Go on-line at westcanadian.com/canvas from 9:00 Saturday morning, October 3rd, to Sunday evening at 6:00 October 4th and download their photos, or they can bring their prints in to The Hub in Inglewood and we will scan their prints for free at the same time.
I'll gather as much details as I can and once I get all the confirmed notes - I'll post an update.
If you have any questions PM me and I can send you some contact information.
The sizes are 16x24; 10x15, 17x17

Yep,
You can upload your own images if you have them online. The Hub is an option if someone wants a scan.

Don't really understand the purpose of announcing the sale and then delaying it until a certain date. I know it's done a lot, especially by larger department stores, but the logic of it escapes me. If the decision to sell at a certain discounted price has been made, why not starting the sale right away? Instead of distributing the workload evenly (assuming that the sale is not a gimmick and the higher sales volume is realistically expected), the store creates a bottleneck and frustration for both the customers and the staff.

The way I read it, the OP has a connection or works there himself so he is just giving an advance heads-up to CP'ers.
eg) not officially announced as a sale yet by West Canadian

Yeah I work here, I understand what you are getting at though CaptainYooh.
At least this way you have time to find what images you want printed rather then frantically dig around to find the right ones.

Unrelated, I worked at West Canadian and built the file upload tool you guys still seem to be using.
One of those things I didn't expect to still see running in the wild 4 years later.

Normally its a 3-4 business day turnaround, I'm not expecting that to drastically change.
