We have some leads - watch for it around West Hillhurst/Parkdale. Bow Trail around Westbrook Mall. Around Richmond Rd and 37th St.

That's the M.O. of some mid-level dealers who operate out of the subsidized housing near that mall. They'll steal your vehicle and use it for their needs for 1-3 days and then ditch it.

LOL. Working at a car dealer I get a new car every 12-18 months. Yet I still have weird love of all my 10-15 year old winter beaters I buy and fix up with all this interesting history behind them. I almost care about them more for some reason.

Bummer!
Hope you don't mind me piggy backing your thread but my truck was stolen from in front of my house in Sunnyside mid day on Friday. As above call the cops if you happen to see it around.
The funky coloured bike rack and Ridley's cycle decal should help differentiate it a bit. It's a Grey 2009 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x Crew Cab. License ZAM-207.

Please keep your eyes open for a dark blue Ford Explorer 2003, Eddie Bauer edition. There was a bike rack attached to the trailer hitch. Licence plate UBJ 080. Sun roof.
Thanks.

I hope you find it. I was less fortunate with my car in May. However, teens usually just joyride, and ditch the car. Hope it is found undamaged.

CPS should have never disbanded the HEAT team, with it's bait cars. They had good success with that program.

I just did a slow lap around westbrook mall parking lot, as a bit of Rosscarock and Westgate on my way home. Didn't see it -but also didn't cover the entire parking lot.

Also Troutman, if that ad posted earlier isn't the case, their are some ads on Kijiji that are selling parts of a Ford Explorer similar to yours:

Let me know if you need any more help!

I think that's exactly what happened. You don't want to steal a car and have it sitting around in your inventory. You find a buyer for a vehicle, and then you go get it. It's more efficient, and you aren't unnecessarily stealing vehicles no one else wants.

Anyone in the Glamorgan area, keep your eyes open. Glamorgan, westbrook, Bow trail.
I think I may have encountered the guy near Petro Canada on 37th Street SW near Mount Royal U. I cannot explain the details, or be more specific until troutman gives the okay; as the situation has changed.
Suffice to say this criminal needs to be caught. I am a personal friend of troutman away from this site and I am well on the way to enraged.
Guy I saw was young, 22-26, very short dark hair buzz cut maybe. Slimmer build possibly, hard to tell. Headed towards MRU.
troutman has reports of card use attempts all over this general area.
