Ferland hit Hamilton pretty solidly early in the scrimmage and later Hamilton pretty much pushed him to the ground and beaked at him.

Ferland looked good with Johnny/Mony

(working on the assumption that Hudler plays with Bennett)...

I would like to see Ferland play the left side with Bennett and Hudler.

However, if he fits on the right side with Gaudreau and Monahan, that might be even better for the Flames.

Either way, it boils down to this: if Ferland can show that he is ready for one of those two lines, the Flames are going to be so much deeper this year.
