Really? Huh. I thought he was very clear and concise. Not a fan of his politics but I like how laid back he is.

Carly appears to be the clear winner. Interesting that someone whose company went bankrupt 4 times and someone who drove down a company's stock pretty heftily are probably going to be 1 and 2 in the polls.

I'd love to see Sanders vs Trump.
I thought Trump did a very good job of making Bush look unelectable. Meanwhile, Carson also looked unelectable tonight. In fact...no one on that stage looked very electable at all.

I got the same impression. Trump to me is the best man to try and clean up the financial mess, say what you want but he did build a business empire. But on international issues Trump doesn't have much of a clue although it would be hard to imagine him doing worse than the last few presidents.
Watching most of that train wreck I suddenly feel better about our political system and leaders.

Huh? What does building a business empire have to do with tax and entitlements?
Business leaders are not the best at balancing budgets

At this point I'm hoping for Biden or Sanders v. Carson.
It would be so weird to see a civilized reasoned debate in American politics.

He just wants to spread it out. Cause you know, some of his friends kids 'contracted' autism.

Trump and Bill Maher both agree on vaccinations, so you know it must be true.

Civilized, yes, but lord oh lord Carson is pretty crazy on certain issues (climate, women's health, sexuality/marriage). If its one of those hot button societal questions driven by religion, you can be sure he's on the crazy side.
To me, Rand Paul came across as the smartest and most sane option out there. I am quite baffeled at these being the only options the GOP has, all of them are crazy in some regard and have no chance at beating Hillary or Bernie.

But but but Donald Trump said he was funny looking! That ruined his chances!
That was a weird moment. I'm no Rand Paul fan, but his reaction to Trump's playground barb was perfect. He didn't quite roll his eyes, and really didn't react at all except with a look that seemed to say "I'm ignoring this, let's just keep going because I'm not a child".

This may end up being a double digit democrat win next year.

Yeah. Carson's beliefs are weird in some areas, especially given his education. But I'm talking more about his manner of debate/discourse, which is respectful and soft spoken.
As for Bernie, I'm not sure the US deserves him yet. That man's a thinker who must just despair at the state of politics down there.

I doubt it, Hillary has had a terrible campaign the biggest problem right now is she's coming across as unlikable and part of the politico machine , and she looked pretty bad last time around in the debates.
The Democratic field looks pretty bad right now as well. Even if Biden runs how he's attached at the hip to this current administration which is kind of the cause of this voter rebel backlash that's happening now.
