Brainwashed by your elders to hunt kill, doesn't make it right.

and just because something is a "tradition" doesn't make it wrong either.

Just to be clear, my original post was not directed at you.
1000's of generations ago, people may have had a legitimate reason for hunting in this manner, we don't anymore.
There is a reason why it's been banned in other places, why not here I don't know.
Personally I'd like to see trophy hunting outlawed....globally. If you hunt and harvest meat, more power to you. Shooting something simply for the sake of stuffing it and hanging it on your wall is primitive and a complete waste of life.

Its not like you need to go out and shoot for meat anymore, its available for a few bucks a pound. Trophy hunting is ridiculously dumb.
Baiting might be a agreed upon tactic but its the ultimate in lazy.
Look, if you want to satisfy you're primal urges with hunting strip down to a loin cloth, grab a knife or a stick or a club and hunt that way. there would be a way bigger Orgasm provided by hunting that way.
Or the better way, is to make it more challenging for the hunters, by deploying hunter hunters on the grounds to thin out what is looking like a over inflated herd of lazy bait hunters.
We can even do baiting for humans by laying out a package of pizza, cheap imported beer and tobacco.

The IT you referred to is raised and slaughtered in a much more deplorable dynamic than hunting. Further, the meat that is harvested from wild game is better for you and chemical free.
But yeah, I guess to avoid being lazy we could just go buy more meat at the store.

Chemicals are not necessarily a bad thing. Technically water is a chemical.
I don't think it is completely a coincidence that life expectancy is higher in countries that practice modern animal husbandry compared to hunter-gatherer societies.
Wild game is very susceptible to parasites and disease (especially carrion eaters like bears, which is why First Nations would not typically even hunt them for meat). Pigs in the wild had the same issues, but farming practices have made eating pork a lot safer than before humans knew how to raise the animals properly.

Good luck with that. Animal rights sentiments are more or less confined to North America and Western Europe.

Are you honestly trying to say that life expectancy is greater in, let's say the UK than it is for the Piraha in the Amazon because they practice modern animal husbandry in the UK? Really?
