Close to where I live in Auburn Bay. Scary stuff. I remember back when I lived in Somerset we had a cougar there.

So is that Grizzly the actual bear, or just 770 doing their best to sensationalize?

Leave the bear alone, he was just looking for something to eat.

See if you all had an arsenal of AR-15s with advanced scopes, you could just neutralize the threat no problem.

There is a 9 year old from another thread with a gun and some fryer grease that can help you out.

Wow, who would have thought there would be a bear within a 10 minute commute of downtown

Not too worried if it's all the way south in Mahogany. Once it gets north enough - say past Claresholm - I think us Calgarians can start to get concerned.
If you bought this, you got 99 problems but MENSA membership ain't one.

I just realized - AM770 was factually incorrect, as usual; a bear from as far south as Mahogany is actually called a "Koala".
I'll see myself out now!

The only reason you don't see Bears closer to the inner city is because even bears don't like being peed on by homeless people.

Bears hate the slow commute with all of those ridiculous bike lanes.
